Making your gecko eat.

LeoDude7 Aug 02, 2003 08:35 PM

I've had a gecko fore over a week and it hasn't eaten except for maybe 3 crickets and 2 mealies. Whats a good way to get them eating? Somebody said there's some stuff called jumpstart tha's supposed to work but I don't know where to get it. Are there similar products? Gracias!

wait a little while. geckos need time to settle in before they eat. ive had one go 2 months before eating! and now she's 100% perfectly healthy.

WOW 2 months without eating???????????? Did she have a HUGE fat store? Did you feed her supplements at all?

oddly she didn't have a huge fat storage. she is built like a lot of other trempers, kinda thin, but not underweight. she never lost any weight either, well maybe a little, i couldnt tell though. i didn't force her supplements, but of coarse she had a bowl of calcium.
