off topic but...

have you noticed that the people on the different reptile forums tend to behave a bit like the animals they prefer? Ok I'm just joking around with everyone but I read alot of these forums for various species and people tend to mimic thier pets! You dragon folks tend to be fairly polite and easy going, ball pythons folks a bit slow to get to know the new guys but nice. Turtle folks are polite and unassuming. The frog forum is kind of jumpy, not overly friendly. The monitor folks seem a little unpredictable and the venomous are down right snippy(no offense guys really, your topics are so intense!). Just wanted to poke a bit of fun at everyone. Since I post on several and lurk on others that probable makes me moody and unpredictable.LOL. Just couldn't resist. Has any one else noticed this.

Interesting observation. Funny that you brought it up, not long ago a friend of mind was making similiar observation between drivers and the kind of cars they drive.

i noticed a difference like this as well when i first went to the chameleon forums and posted messages, and read some as well. no offense to any of them, but some are very snippy, have the attitude of "my way is the correct way" or "my opinion is right and yours doesnt matter" seems like they arent very social and dont like to be bothered, sort of like chameleons.

you will notice alot of what i mean if any of you ever read the opinion of feeding live prey, it got started by someone saying they fed feeder anoles to their chameleon, then it just went to hell from there by people voicing their opinions of feeding live prey...i stayed out of that one HAHA

I own two boxers so maybe I take after them too. I probably look abit like them but so far people have been too polite to say so! I learn alot from all the forums I read, even the grumpy ones. Want excitement read the monitor posts regarding ownership laws for the big lizards. Very heated topic, same with the venomous. Absolutely fascinating. I enjoy it all!
