Color Question

hevychevy427 Aug 02, 2003 09:25 PM

I purchased a Black Mexican King in March of this year at the Monroeville show. He was Jet Black with very little yellow dots on his side. He was already a good size, but not adult.
After many sheds he is chocolate brown/bronze with a Jet Black head and neck with a mother of pearl belly.
Ir this normal? Is he a Black Mexican or something else ...I will try to get a photo showing this coloration.
Thanks
