First for the good thing. My black milksnake went missing, found him a week later. He has always eaten whatever I put into his tank, dead, live, rat or mouse. When I found him and offered several mice over a few days he would not eat. I offered him a rat and he took it. offered another mouse he refused - offer rat ate it right up! Rat eater = good thing.
Bad thing 1. - My female florida had a protozoa issue, this issue got resolve but she refused to eat for weeks afterwards. She is eating again but now only wants mice! Previous to outbreak she was eating nice sized rats! Very bad thing.
Bad thing 2. Switch my corn over to rats and that was a good thing. Now my corn has decided that he only wants mice again, bad thing! To make matters worse I have over 30 baby rats since all my breeders dropped at the same time!
So a littly frustratded this morning and needed to vent. To end on a positive note, my two easterns well eat cats, dogs, possum and elephants if they could!

Seriously. I have gone to the point of leavng the rats in used mouse bedding overnight. It is not that big of a deal my easterns will eat them, just a little frustrating. I will get them switched back eventually, it is just a pain dealing with it.
