Woo Hoo Babies Finally!!

MichHerper Jul 22, 2006 10:21 AM

I've been waiting 2 years for my hog island boas to drop another clutch. I woke up this morning to 12 beautiful neonates. Of which 5 are almost completely striped. Her last clutch was only 3-4 and none of them were striped. A nice suprise to say the least. I will get pics put up soon.

I've talked to a few people and no one recalls ever seeing them.

Thanks,
Jeff

I know there are a few striped lines of Hogs, but I would love to see pics of yours. Congrats Vinnie

Here are the pics. Sorry the lighting is bad, it doesn't show their true color. It's late at night. I will post some new ones soon. But here is a group shot of them as well as a stripe. Some are just normal pattern, some are 50/50, some are mostly striped.
Let me know what you think?

Jeff

Sweet!!! Never seen that before. Are they pure Hogs?

MichHerper Jul 23, 2006 05:25 AM

As far as I know. Unfortunatly they were given to me by a friend, who recieved them from someone else and I am unable to get any kind of paper trail back to the original breeder for the blood line.

They are very nice Hogs. I know Paul Mitchel PM Herps has a line of patternless or reverse stripe Hogs, and I know there are a couple others, but their names escape me at this point. Congrats again Vinnie

Thanks Vinnie,
Now I just have to get them fed and ready for sale.
