When I went to feed them tonight, he was chasing his female cagemate around with his mouth open. I interupted however and his thoughts went to food when he saw me. This is the first time I have seen any possible mating attemps from these two. I know that Russains are quite ammeruss without much results. It is still exciting. I have had them for about 5 months now and they were fresh imports.
How big doese the female need to be before any breeding will produce possitive results?
