Those look like pretty good Cals. Good Job! What is their temperament like? Derek

The temperment of both of them is absolutly awsome. The pet store said they were both very nippy and did strike at them several times but they have not shown a bit of agresion to me. I figured I would have a problem today after feeding but I use hand sanitizer after every mouse I touch and did not get any coiling or striking or any bit of agresion for eather of them when I removed them from the feeding container.

Lovely snakes - the albino is particularly pretty.

So agan just because I am wandering now that you have seen pictures dose it look like I got my moneys worth? Agan I paid $128 for both after tax. They are a male and female sexed pair and the pet store added them to our verbal contract to purchase all babys from me when they are able to breed. I already have a contract with the pet store to sell them Leopard Geckos and Corn Snakes and aperently now King Snakes. I know the snake market and I am sure there value of the young will drop by at least half by the time these 2 breed but maybe I will get lucky and make back my $128 with the first clutch. The pet store has already agreed to buy all my Corn eggs when they hatch for 35 each. if all 17 eggs hatch that will put $595 back in my reptile acount witch will more than pay for them LOL:0

Your price isn't too bad.
The prices I am referring to are from places like East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley, CA - which deals in much higher volume (and does a lot of breeding on their own, and has some employees doing breeding on their own, etc.)

Earlier this month I purchased a female kingsnake, she's not a hatchling - she's about a year old, and after shipping - it came to $85.00 ($40 for the snake, $45.00 for the s h - which seems to be pretty standard charge, and I got a decent snake bag out of it too)

Anyway - so your price may not have been that out of line. By the time they are breeders, the food and care investment will have been much larger than the initial purchase price of the animals anyway.

Hopefully your non albino is HET for albinism, so that half of your hatchlings will be albino.

Good luck with them!
