next thing to try to get babies feeding?

rjward97 Jul 22, 2006 03:28 PM

My 4 little western hogs started hatching on the 4th of July, out of the egg within a day or 2. The first one out has now eaten 3 meals of f/t pink mice. The remaining 3 babies have yet to take anything. I have tried f/t, brained f/t and live pinky mice in a small paper bag with hogs over night. Not really stressing, as I know they can be difficult to get feeding.. and they are not yet losing wieght. What should I try next round? Scenting?
Thanks for any input.
Roxanne

Well one of the 3 ate a live pink mouse scented with water from a can of tuna. Read about the trick on the kingsnake forums and figured I would give it a try.
