Grebster and Chewalla need a SCRUB

PHEve Jul 22, 2006 08:02 PM

These boys are my handsome fellas but boy do they get messy, LOL they seem to have a good time though, still live together and romp out in the room together, I think they always will be chummy chuck Pals,

Come this Tues, they and my disabled female Hooty, are going to get a NEW chuckwalla friend, a beautiful S. varius can't wait.

That is so neat! Do chuck live happily in little families or colonies? So nice after having the solitary Cyrus and Darwin. Wonder when I can introduce Stan Jr. to his folks.

How do they get messy?? Do you have pics of their setups on here. Oh, duh, I should probably just check out your site!?

after they eat like pigs, tossing veggies and flowers all over the place, they usually do their biz and drag themselves along with a trial of mess, if ya get what I'm saying, LOL they get messy and need to get bathed, their tails need scrubing all the time.

Most males do not hit it off, but I had Chewalla from the time he was 12 weeks and began holding him and he turned into a lap chuck, then when Grebster came he sort got real friendly watching Chewalla. So they are both quite gentle with each other.

That is awesome! Tom, how far away are you from the University of Michigan. I have a pretty good feeling I will be making a trip up there within a couple months.
