Albino Ball - Blush

StrikingSerpents Jul 22, 2006 08:06 PM

I have posted this guy before. He is an unproven Blush albino. His color appears to have seeped out of the yellow pattern into his white pattern. This leaves behind a sort of muted yellow where the yellow should be and a neon yellow in the white. He also has an intensely yellow head. He is a small 04 male (700 grams) and his color continues to change...

Anyone have any input on this?

Wow, that's a great looking animal. It certainly doesn't look like a normal albino. Just a guess, but maybe it's an IMG or something similar mixed with the albino gene.

Thanks, I think it is the same thing as Morph Kings Albino Blush. We are hoping to prove it after the next breeding season. I have a few female siblings to this male that are breeding size and I am hoping they are hets. We will have to wait and see!

my bet is IMG also. Especially because it keeps changing.

Looks like I would imagine an ADULT Albino Ghost (Hypo) or Albino Pastel would look like. Stranger things have happened.....

Looks hypo. Certainly nice looking though.

I don't think it is the hypo trait that is causing this but I do think it is a similar mutation that causes it. The sibling hets I own have a soft brown pattern. This is what a normal sibling het looks like compared to a normal ball. It doesn't look hypo to me but does look different...
