I promise to keep it short...
I do hunt dusk to dawn if I have a place to sleep and don't drive home the same night.
Early alterna are far more numerous (between dark and midnight) but numbers after midnight are good enough to keep me going until I feel it's over.
I found a juvie in a crack at 8:00 am after 10-11 hours of nothing. Another time I found one stretched out in the road at 8:30 AM in front of BLACK sky to the east after two days of nothing.
My collecting is bias towards eastern counties but I've found several past 4:00 am in Brewster county.
On a hot night the temps are lowest and relative humidty highest right before dawn (in general).
