So I have an idea (that's a dangerous thing I tell you). I don't know how it would work so if anyone has any experience or tips, please add them. I have found that I really like creating large water areas for my frogs instead of just a water dish. My frogs seem much more at home. Anyway, I have the crazy idea of creating a 4 inch deep "lagoon" w/ a waterfall and whatnot in my next tank and I was wondering if then I could put in a few Neon Tetras for an addition. My main concern is the water purity w/ the fish waste from themselves as well as extra food. I read that Neon Tetras eat fish food flakes, but will also eat small insects? I'm assuming that they were talking about bloodworms and the like, but would they eat fruitflies as well? If this is a completely rediculous idea, I will definitally opt out of having the fish instead of minimizing their care to have them as tank "ornaments." Thanks for any suggestions in advance.
Luke.
