I've decided to go with leucs, still more ???'s

Hey guys, it's me again. I've decided to go with D. leucomelas. How many adults would be OK for a 29 gallon? Also, I read it's better to raise froglets in smaller rubbermaid continers, how have you guys done it? I'm sure I've got more questions but that's it for now. Thanks for your input.

Hi,

Leucs are awesome first dart frogs to get, one of my favorite. You could comfortably keep 4-6 adults in a 29 gallon aquarium. You don't have to raise froglets in plastic containers but it is a good idea to keep them in smaller terrariums than you would be keeping adults in. In a smaller area of space it will be easier for the small frogs to catch food and you will be able to keep track of all your frogs. Once they are around 6 or 7 months out of the water and you are sure they are eating well you can move them up to the large terrarium. Good luck!
