The Name Game

repzoo44 Jul 22, 2006 11:55 PM

Am I the only one who thinks these names are getting out of control? Im not trying to be a Debbie Downer or anything, just seems like anytime a "new" snake is born its already got a name and its offspring that arent even born yet have another and the mom has this and dad has that and so on and so on. Maybe I just never paid attention to it, but I feel like this year I have seen a lot more of this happeneing than in the past. I completely understand wanting to be the originator of a new line, and naming it accordingly, I just think its going to be very confusing in the years to come. Any thoughts from anyone else? Thanks for playing.

It seems the names go through phases too. The most recent hot naming topics are coffee and weather related. And don't you dare ask to see the parents of any new snake! Here are what the babies look like, and maybe one parent, but don't even think about asking for pics of the other! People, the prices on everything are dropping, get over yourselves. Your "secret" parent is not going to make you a millionaire, or make you $30-40K per baby like it used too. Then, maybe you do not want instant copy cats trying to breed similar snakes to what you have that produced a new "morph." BUT, it looks like the days of $40K snakes are coming to an end, not a terribly bad thing, so why treat your "project" as TOP SECRET? IT is late, maybe I am just grumpy...

NO no, you make another point. Why not show the parents? Its not like its a secret ingredient that can be easily purchased at the nearest pet store. If its truly something new, guess what, youre the only one that has it.

Dave I agree.Thwe days of big money in balls are gone. You guys can lie all you want but truth is most deals are trades.Cash money is rare as the morph your trying to sell.$5000.00 and up.Thats why everyone is trying to sell package deals and so on.payments plans.Price and demand people.I like it cause more people can afford to buy cool stuff. Most backdoor deals is some of the problem.Lots of backstabbing Thats why people don't show adults or wait till they have produced alot of them then sell as many quietly .Everyone is waiting for daytona LET THE PRICE WARS BEGIN.
Got to love it.
