Splice the heater and fill the mason jar full of water. I use ground spagnum moss as a medium.

Finally, set the temp on the heater and monitor with a thermometer. Add water as needed to the substrate. I've produced over 30 balls in the last two years this way. Next year I'll be moving on to something that can do a bit more eggs. Here are my het albinos from this season.
