Keep an eye out for very early dimpling as that will be the first sign. Eggs typically start to dimple before they hatch so make sure that is not the cause if you start to notice it as you don't want to get them too wet and kill the almost ready to hatch babies. I myself messed up with my first and possibly only clutch this year and set them up a little too dry and am now fighting a battle to plump up an egg that started to dimple on day 3 of incubation. Remember dryer is better than wetter almost all the time, you can fix to dry, it's hard to fix an egg that has gotten too wet.

ok thank you. the way i set the eggs up was I have 2 clutches in 1 sterilite 31 qt conatiner with a plexiglass top each clutch has their own side with a semi large space between them I added some water ONLY to the middle of the container and not around the eggs themselves and moved it around thoroughly with my fingers. if memory serves eggs usually start denting in about 2 weeks prior to hatching, am I right, so i should start looking for denting around august 3rd for the 1st clutch and then the 16th for the second clutch BUT definitly NOT prior corrrect?

Thanks Josh, I cant wait to get my first citrus ghost from you in the future
