A recently imported Lycodon ruhstrati (me thinks) plopped out 5 good eggs today. I provided a nice lay box, moist orchid moss, dim light, music, and she still decided to lay outside the box. In any case, the eggs did not adhere to the plastic shoe-box, and they lifted out in one tight clump for incubation on that coconut bark stuff which has proven to be an excellent medium to incubate eggs on. After laying, she sniffed the eggs with her tongue as if to check em out. Here is a pic of her gravid and just after she laid and smelling the eggs.
