Just to let you know, both of them are the same, just at a different place. I bought the one from drs. foster and smith. It is great for my 4in turtle. And I bought the medium. A medium would be the best size for your 2? hatchlings. Its truly a wonderful ramp.

Thanks for all the information and advice! ! But I forgot To ask One question. Can someone tell me what a good filter is for my 20 gal tank. I have an undergravel filter right now, but it doesnt clean very good.

I like all the aquaclear filters.. I'm not sure what is big enough for a 20 gallon... the aquaclear 500 might be a bit too big for it. However it creates great water movement and is quiet.. only thing you'll hear is the splash which is bareable if the water isn't too low or you have something underneath. I have a 55 gallon tank and I wedge one of my old floating basking spots underneath the splash and it works nicely

You can even get a Aquaclear 500 for 30 dollars which is amazing (buy it online is cheaper then 60 dollars in stores!) And unlike the underground filter your using now, you can really see the filtration taking place. I remember my old underground filter it would just hide everything at the bottom of the tank which I didn't like... especially since my turtles would dig around down there... the Aquaclear series will suck the bad stuff into its filter then you can simply clean it each week.

When I had a 20 gallon, long tank and used a Fluval 4. It worked very well! Kept the water extremely clean for months at a time.

All i have to say is I feel sorry for the turtle in that photo when he jumps off the end of that ramp and smacks his head on the bottom of that tank. Is that like 2" of water? I know they just want to show off their product, but geez.

Turtle Ramp

Allows your aquatic animal to exit the water easily and bask on the platform near the heat source. Constructed of a single piece of formed clear acrylic. Easy-to-install ramp and platform has non-slip, rubberized traction pads. Fits most terrariums, and can be adjusted for water depth with included suction cups.

I also use that one and it works great. I'm actually going to upgrade to the medium soon. Its very stable and provides a nice basking area as well as a deep ramp for them to rest on.

I personally like the deep ramp so you don't have to worry about the water level decreasing due to evaporation. Floating islands are not as versatile.
