Updated Photos requested......

thebigsquease Jul 24, 2006 02:01 PM

I've been asked a few times for updated photographs of the little hatchling that popped out of a WC clutch a few weeks back.
So, since it was so nice today, I figured I would snap a few pictures of her.
First, I'll post one of her hatchling pics:

And now today:

Accidently sent before I was finished. Two more:

She was hatched a little on the premiee side. After only one mouse hopper meal, she took right off on rat crawlers, and not looked back. She has become a pig for crawlers. Can't wait to see what she grows up to look like.

Enjoy.

First name that popped into my head was Yellowjacket. That, or something like Hornet. May sound stupid though. Whatever you decide, that's an amazing snake.

Hey, I like that! But I think the Riddler is copyrighted by Warner Brothers. All I need is a telephone call from some hot shot Lawyer from LA ! hehehehe

I am using a Sony Cyber shot 5.1 mega pixels.
I really like this camera. I paid $499 for it at....... Walmart!!!!! But I wouldn't trade it for Canon or a Nikon. And I have both of those too. But they are SLR.

That is an incredible reduced pattern animal showing the classic wide eye stripe of a true reduced pattern , but don't you think you should reproduce it before you actually give it a "Morph" name like ,yellow jacket or riddler . Something like "Beautiful" or Precious more suits it . Just trying to stop all this UNPROVEN Morph naming that has run rampid in the Biz lately.Great animal , and best of luck with her. Here are some Twin Reduced patterns .

Well, I am just calling it here... Amazing.... it's label on it's tub says Amazing. I'm in no hurry to name it. But you can guess how many inquiries I get on what I am going to name it.
If it proves out, I'll be very happy. If it don't, well... it is still a very nice animal. Either way.... I'm happy.

LOL, we have a beautiful little CH that we currently have labeled Kick A$$ on her enclosure. Best way to name them until you can prove or disprove what they are!! Yours is gorgeous Ron, good luck with it!

If it proves out, here are a couple names to consider:

The Billingsly Pastel (Why not brand it with your name like the Graziani Pastel -- of course, that assumes it IS a pastel. You might want to breed it to a pastel to see if you get a super. Then again there's the Cinnamon Pastel which doesn't create a super when bred to a Jungle Pastel, so what the heck.)

The Groucho Ball -- OK, a little whacky, but it almost looks like it has a big fat moustach under its nose, and when I think of big, fat moustaches I think of Groucho Marx.

The Yellow Jacket Ball -- Not to be confused with the Bumble Bee.

You can name it for yourself for now whatever the heck you want, but I agree with others and would wait until you prove it out before you unveil the name for your morph to the general public. I also have a really odd looking ball, and I have a name I'm calling it, but until it proves out I'm just calling it an "Unproven Male" in my posts.

Here's a pick of my Unproven Male

Best of luck to you, Ron. Hope she proves out.
