Hello. I have an ally that I have had for 10 years. Always a pig. Habitat is the same. He hasnt ate in about 2 weeks? I walk in the room and usually see his mouth open, now he just sits there with his nose in the corner. Also the other day he managed to get out of his enclosure and found him in the corner of the room? Temp is fine. Clean water. Any ideas???

hi- while not eating for 2 weeks is certainly nothing to worry about in snappers,the fact that fell from his aquarium(if this is what happen)might be. i would only start worrying only if he didn't eat for several weeks being he is in good shape. how big is he. i've heard of snappers climbing out of aquariums and falling to the floor with no damage done,but if he weighs alot he might have broke something.

Hello. He is in a rubbermaid sitting on the floor, so he only fell a few inches. I have had him since he was a hatchling, now he will be 10 this october. Cool Turtle. His name is Zorka. I got hime from turtleman dot com. From the Ozark white water basin area. I just flipped Ozark around and spelled Zorka=)
