The tank should be cleaned every day. Don't use the same sand, throw that out completely. You should keep the dragon on paper towels during his treatment to make it alot easier to clean. The tank and all items within it (except the dragon of course) should be throughoutly washed and disinfected, then rinsed very well to ensure no residue of the cleaners or disinfectant is left to harm your dragon.
To keep the cleaning simple, just keep the bare minimal of furnature in the tank. Keep those that would be the easiest to clean. Instead of a piece of wood, use a rock for a basking spot as rocks are alot easier to clean than wood.
One final note, don't forget to use a probiotic after the treatment to ensure the good bacteria is restored in the dragons gut. Check the post below dealing with yellow fungus to see why it is good to use a probiotic.
once i am done with the coccidia treatment, can i put her immediately back on sand?
