OK well im buying my horned frog tonight. its addorabe bout the size of a half dollar.....3 questions....

1. ITs been feeding on crickets but i want to switch it to guppies will that easily be done?

2. I have his 10 gallon all set up but there is a small 3 gallon repti-carrier in there with 1/2 inch water that i will put him in for a few days at first is that a good idea to get him used to my room? Can i just drop some live guppies in the container with him?

3. Is there any possible way to tell the sex at this young age...I really would love for it to be a female...

ok. if hes that size start him out on smaller crickets. dusted of coures. i use jurassi-cal. um im not sure how to sex them. and and to your 2nd question i took the box he cam in and put him in his tank.

Yes it is easy to switch them to guppies or other small fish. Just dangle them in front of the frog.

It is too small to tell the sex.
