Which background color looks better?

ghireptiles Jul 24, 2006 06:06 PM

I took these pics today on both black and blue acrylic. Any preference for background color? This male just shed last night so it was a good time to experiment with different colors for shooting snakes on. Blue or black?

I love how the blue makes the colors pop!

But the black has a very elegant look also.

Beautiful animal on any background!!!

... I think light colored snakes would look better on the black, and darker snakes would look better on the blue.

Black.
The blue is too distracting.

I think both would be OK but I like the black more. The blue is so bright it seems to detract from the cool snake. Awesome snake on any color.
