That one is a genuine Kerby cal and i'll never get tired of her looks, but if i decide to die i'll leave instructions to send her your way.
heheh! Who the hell stirred the soup while I was at work today!? That was one loooooong thread! I guess it was that time of year again. I will start putting in my orders for western, central, or eastern kings! That will make it all so much easier to decide, lol! How's Snickers?
Todd Hughes

these pics have been shown so many times i am going to retire them soon lol...

Lol,lol, lol, lol, lol!!!My "SNICKERS" and her sisters are do-in fantastic. Are you working on any "central" royal yellowbelly projects?
Yeah read my post waaaaay down on the "pure" thread! I will have some locality orange sidewalled specks next year and some "other" specks, oops, kings as well! HAH! Mostly locality splendida and I even have a candybar of my own, mebbe name it Take 5!
Todd Hughes
what's a "take five" is it a chocolate type?
Don't torture me i gotz to know,lol!
Yeah, pretzal dipped in caramel covered in chocolate! MMMMMMM! This guy is just a nice chocolate colored splendy I caught, normal but not common. Most are like Cactus Jill but some down here show different phenotypes in the same county.
Todd Hughes
Did i ever see a pic?
don't have one up yet, just a chocolaty brown splendy but I will try to get a pic up soon.

Even if they do change the subspecies designation, current subspecies will still be sought and described in sales - just like brooksi kings are sought and described.
Changing the scientific name to reduce subspecies doesn't change the market at all. It does make me wonder what the criteria for subspecies is, and if they are changing the criteria for what designates a subspecies.

That's not a deal, that's a steal!!!
Todd Hughes
your right about people calling their snakes what they want, it happens all the time.
here's a geebie king
n/p
here she is again
I'm a fellow herp lover that has come to enjoy the pics you post, especially the cal kings. I strongly agree that it seems impossible to say whether some snakes are "pure", whereas others neatly fit into well established categories and are obviously a certain subspecies. I like 'em all, and love a good sense of humor. Your post was pretty funny.
LOL!
