terrible thing happened..

my purple suri died today..she was regurging and losing weight..she was a rescue that we never got fully healed..she had been to our vet several times and treated for a number of things..we sure hate to lose her she was my favorite..she will be missed..

I'm so sorry...

Its a terrilbe thing when you lose one...I found out how hard it is earlier this year when Pearl my Snow boa died from a leaking folicle..

ahh I am so sorry to hear this! I had something similar happen, I rescued a guyana BCC that was very thin and had to be force fed, I took him to the vet and turned out there was a huge parasite load... started treating with meds through a tube per the vet's instructions. The hardest part was when he actually started to look better.. but then he died a few weeks later. Sometimes they really are already so far gone by the time we try to rescue them.. it's just too late. Just take solice that you tried, did your best and hopefully made those last few days comfortable for the boa. My sympathies.
