My Retic lives in a vision cage. As you probably know they capture a lot of humidity. I live in Northern California and it's been 100 for a few days strait now. I haven't even turned on her light for a week because its been so hot. Her cage is very, very hot and humid and she goes crazy and tries to hide under her bark for coolness. I'm scared she might overheat, as this has already happened to my buddies burmese a few days back.

PLEASE! Any suggestions or ideas. I would think they would like the heat, but shes really trying to get away from it and I don't know what to do. PLEASE respond soon, I need some options. Thanks alot.

Go to Target or Walmart and buy a $10 plastic tub that is big enough, and deep enough for her coiled up...fill it with water, slide it in, take bets on how long before she crawls in for a soak If it is as hot as you say, and she is as restless as you describe, I bet she'll be hot tubbing within an hour.

get you some empty 2 liter coke bottles and fill with water and freeze them wrap them with a towel and put them in there..works great..
