Yes you can feed him worms. If the worm has been kept in normal soil then it should have a good calcium to phosphorus ratio. If you are buying the worm then you need to either keep the worm in a calcium enriched substrate or dust it.
If you are collecting the worms, becareful where you collect them due to the risk of pesticides and herbicides.

A large earthworm may be too large but you can offer sections of them.

so if i wash them i have to dust them? im not sure where they have been.
Are you buying the worms or are you collecting them?
Washing them isn't the issue. If you remove the gut contents from the worms then you absolutely have to dust them.

I posted in a topic about worms for pacman and pixies. If you're buying worms, then you'll have to feed them something like crushed dry oatmeal (be sure to put it at the bottom of the container.)
I do wash my worms and then pat dry them on a tissue that way they'll produce their mucus and when you dust them everything will stick nicely. And I ALWAYS dust my worms when I feed my frog. Just be sure it's a light dusting.
If you're taking worms out from the public, be sure you know where you're taking them from. If from the sidewalks after a rain, I'd say you run a higher rish of encountering parasites and herbicides already in the worm. However, if it's from a known source such as your backyard you'll only have to worry about parasites but even the chances of the worms containing them might not be that high considering where they're coming from.
Worms are a great meal for your frog and he will enjoy them very much and they wiggle around in his mouth. I'd say it's the perfect growth food for a juvenille considering its nutrition value.
