It has been a long while since I have been in these parts. I see we still have many that are still here. There may be more but the ones I remember the most are sartori, Sonya, DeMAk, Da Truth, Lucien, and a few others. But anyways, its good to be back. I am going to run through all the posts to see what's been going on here.

Anyways, I have a question. I remember a while back someone asked about who ships live mice. I think sartori gave an answer to who does but I could be wrong. I have heard that it can be expensive sending through Delta dash ($170) and wouldn't really be worth it. Here is the thing. Remember that guy who got charged with animal cruelty and all that stuff in OKC some months ago? Well, that guy was the shop here's supplier. He has been going through another source and is telling me that they don't have enough to meet the demand. He says he'll either have to raise the price of the mice by $2.00 to level it off. That'll put the mice at $4.50 each before tax. Crazy prices for a feeder. He said there would be no way that the people here would buy frozen off of him and says that isn't a good idea and that when school starts again he is going to be in trouble as everyone is going to be coming back with their pets. The nearest shop for feeders is 1.5hr drive. I told him that I would get back to him with a shipper that does send live. I drove the long drive and have 1:3 rats (might buy another F) to get the stock increased, got rid of 4 mice and have the 3f left that have 2 litters down. The other litter was lost to the new mom but is now nursing the other 2 litters. So I may just keep them for extras. Then, buy a male after these babies are larger and frozen to start new batches as I think a new male would kill these young dead right now. I am in no rush due to the last reserves putting me at about 20lbs of all sizes of mice and rats. So it would more or less help the folks getting back soon. Any ideas?
Thanks
