do you mind me asking why you decided to breed these two species/subspecies(i think they're currently considered completely diff. species, with sayi being it's own,or a subsp. of catenifer) together?as opposed to doing one of the many morphs/localities of readily available pure bulls,or just northern pines?

.....never mind,i just found the old post where you asked us what they looked like to us,and you said it was done by accident....hope those don't get into the hands of the wrong people....3-4 years ago i was duped into buying this exact same hybrid as pure pituophis ruthveni before i knew better.

it really means allot, coming from you anyway yes it was inadvertant NOT improper management there is a differancebut thanks anyway, i could have stopped it but didnt and am glad i didnt the resulting offspring are gorgeous imho,,, i know a few look like your ky.pine babies ya'll hatched!hahahahaha thats gotta sting huh?,,,,,,,,,,thomas

Well lets see here, wouldn't an "inadvertant" introduction of two sexually reproductive snakes constitute improper management?

I think you are mistaken about your snakes looking like our snakes. But then again, I can understand how a guy that is unable to keep track of his own snakes could see things that way.

You're right she did turn out to be very attractive! Thanks for posting that pic. I am glad that you like her. Take care!

....yeah i placed my amel. male in with her,but they showed no interest in each other;odd,as he was very much 'into' my amel female(9 eggs produced, incubating now).....she may just not quite be ready/old enough;maybe next year.

She's still pretty young, though it wouldn't have shocked me if she would have produced. With the good size on her and being 3 this next season I'll bet she see's a little more attention from the boys. Thanks again for that pic, you've done a great job with her, she looks outstanding!
