What are the Sulphur/Sumatran monitors exactly?

59herps Aug 03, 2003 01:47 AM

Basically, I've seen them listed as either a new species or a new subspecies of V. salvator (herpafauna indonesia). I also remember rare earth inc. bringing them in awhile ago at 5,000 each can anybody give me more information on them?
thanks,
Devlin

Sulphurs, Sumatrans and other water monitors are the same subgenera, or group, all water monitors, including the sulphurs which except for their coloration are water monitors from a specific place - go to www.cybersalvator.com - the salvator/sulphur web page...webmaster John A. knows ALOT about V. salvator complex and has examples of most of them.

cheers,
