I just hatched my first clutch of ball pythons and wondering if there are any tricks to get them to eat. Out of 4 I got one to eat a hopper mouse live. Do any of you try frozen thawed for the first time? Or should I try a rat fuzzy?

Try a rat pink or fuzzy/hopper mouse after their first shed.

My last clutch didn't start eating until a week after their first shed. 1 ate a fuzzy mouse, two ate peach fuzz rats a few days later, and my one female out of the clutch did not eat until 3 weeks after her first shed, and ate a peach fuzz rat as well. I fed them all live.
