Dum in rehab?

pythonis Jul 26, 2006 09:00 AM

yeah my dum is in rehab. been drinking for years. Ive been telling him he needs to lay off the sauce but does he listen? NOOOO. Anyway, I know some of you probably think Im cruel for tricking him into thinking we were going to the Rodentpro facility but ya know it's tough love. My boas should be chasing rats...not fifths. It's better to put him in the clinic now than later when he'd be able to reach the gas pedal. Am I a mean person?

Sometimes an intervention like that is the best course of action, I'm a strong believer in tough love if the situation calls for it.

Watch out, most recovering alcoholics turn to coffee or other caffeine loaded drinks instead... I'd hate to see any large boa all hopped up on coffee - all hyper/jittery/anxious, he'll wear your tank out doing laps.

Lol... you always did seem to have a strange sense of humor pythonis, but yea - it is pretty dead in here most of the time.

...Not that the list will end there, got my sites set on a few others... snakes and other reptiles are highly addictive.

Rob, Been out drinking with him again???? I'm really starting to worry about you possibly being a bad influence on your snakes. He would never have become a lush if you hadn't gotten him started.

P.S.: hopefully we'll see you Saturday.

Obviously, the people at the rehab arent doing their jobs or else this would never have happened. Oh well, at least he picked a good brand.
