Admitting I'm pretty new to the ball morph world, I'm somewhat intrigued by yellowbellies. So much so, in fact, I had to pick up one for myself recently. I'm just curious if anyone has done some thinking on why yellowbellies, a seemingly innocuous, if not ordinary looking snake, can produce what it does? What all is attributed to them so far? Ivories, Ebonies, Super Stripes, etc? I'm somewhat familiar with genetics and the working of codominant genes, but that you can take one of these snakes and pair it with a completely different looking animal and still consistently produce other, very strange looking animals astounds me. So, any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.
