My incubator as well as snakes are in the garage. As of now the hot part of the enclosures for all snakes sits comfy at just above 80F so thats ok, The problem is with the incubatopr. I have a 3G buket with 2 bricks, the 2 egg containers sit on each brick and there is a submersable fish tank heater between the bricks. The bucket is filled with water just so it barly touches the bottom of the egg containers. My problem is I keep the temp in the incubator right at 80F and now I notice it sits at about 85F 24-7 inside the egg containers meaning the heater is never on. I am not sure what to think about this. It should be fine so long as the temps dont go to much higher right?

MY INCUBATOR was continually around 85 and the babies are hatching now... only the 1st one has a teeny tiny tail kink barely visible. but anyways...some days it was a lil more...some a lil less. but they all look okey dokey to me. oh well....

Ok cool. I have been trying to keep them at 80F but its hard I mean I havent tryed to add ice cubes or bring them inside yet but when the air temp out there is 85 its hard to keep the incubator lower than that,
