calico retic questions

JohnOH Jul 26, 2006 04:18 PM

So far as I know the calico trait shows up only in females. Has anyone had/seen a verified calico male?
The genetics for this one really seem weird. Some are born normal and then turn calico as they grow. Some calicos turn normal. Is there a good site anywhere with definitive information on this trait?
Thanks
