incubating temps for male/female eggs

beachbeardies Jul 26, 2006 09:43 PM

hey i was wondering if anyone knnows the temps for incubating dragon eggs to get more females or more males in the clutch. i remember reading this many times but i cant think of what the temps were off the top of my head. i am getting an incubator which i will safely be able to divide it to 2 different sections with different temps, and would like to see how well the different temps work.

thanks
judson

Bearded dragons don't have temperature sex determination as do some other reptiles.

i read in the bearded dragon manual and a few other books and caresheets that you can set temps to have clutches produce more females, or more males. i know the whole clutch wont be but the percentage will be higher. im just seeing if this is true and if it is what those temps were, i forgot
