HOW BAD DOES A BITE FROM AN ANACONDA FEEL.
The pain is related to a)The size of the snake, and b) How pissed off the snake is, or c)Is the bite a mistaken predatory strike. If it is a combination of large snake and predatory strike.....Its painful, I have had teeth break off and be stuck in my finger from a neonate.....nevermind a larger specimen. The worst is if you get it on the knuckles. All snakes have digestive enzymes in their mouths, bites from larger snakes often cause some hemmoraging around the bite because of this, compounding the discomfort. I saw an article in reptiles magazine once with a picture of a bite from a 22ft retic on the leg of Dave Barker. He needed 11 stitches...He was aiding a problem shed...In his words "The scary thing was, it was the gentlest bite the snake could have delivered".
well, since their teeth are hooked and all, i expect the bite to be pretty painful especially big ones (they can make you bleed to death because they basically tear your skin). plus, ive seen my bro get bitten multiple times and he got a tooth stuck in him every time. Once the tooth went in, but somehow the pointed end was sticking out (of his neck) so i expect that has something to do with the hooked teeth... sometimes the even bite for no damn reason, but you can tell if they are about to because they kind of rub their nose on ya, then chomp!! so be carefull, i know it still hurts when they are babies(from what ive seen).
