Ok just wanted to share some information. I have been breeding ball pythons for a while and have never had the problems as other breeders in feeding frozen thawed. I only kept back frozen thawed feeders to breed myself over the years. Any way, last night was my first attempt at feeding 13 hatchlings from three different clutches that I produced, all from frozen thawed feeders. I placed a thawed pink rat in every container, in the morning 12 of the 13 had eating on the very first attempt at frozen thawed. This just goes to prove my theory more that many people are breeding LIVE feeding ball pythons. To me whats the sense? Especially if they are normal? Any way just thought I would share, this is the first year Ive actually tried to keep statistics on this info and thought about BREEDING picky eaters. In the past I have bred picky females that wanted chicks or other food items and their babies are always picky feeders hence my only keeping great feeding ball pythons. I think they have great feeding babies. Just my theory.
