weight to feed snakes

smith710 Jul 27, 2006 03:03 PM

I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites or anythign that shows how much weight i should be feeding my snakes. I dont want to know the size of the mouse i would like to know if there was a weight to feed a certain weight of snake.

example:
snake weighs 1lb how many grams, ounces, ect... should i be giving him?

i don;t just want to know for that one pound i have a few different snakes, i was wondering if any one had a chart or something. Thanks.

You couldn't make such a thing because some rodents are fatter than others. It matters how fat they are. You could have two rodents and one might be too wide to feed your boa but be the same weight as another rodent that would be the right size to feed.
