A product for cricket HATERS

jos Jul 27, 2006 03:11 PM

personally hate crickets but in BC it's difficult to get alternatives like silkworms ect. I go through anywhere between 8,000-10,000 crickets a month...so some get out. The sound of 1 cricket chirping is nice but not when they randomly place themselves throughout the house, I'm sure some can relate.

Anyways the point is, I was at my locale dollar store and found non-toxic disposable glue traps for mice. You get 8 for $2.00. Well I put a piece of dog food in the middle left them out last night...got 5 crickets.

Just thought I'd share my new favorite item, as I am sure others have similar problems/issues with feeder insects.

I use the fly strips that hang for fruit flies...the random critter in your place is rather annoying...i need to try what you are using
