ECSCAPED EASTERN MILK

My eastern milk snake ecscaped and I was wondering if anybody has any tips to help me find my snake.

Sorry to hear that, it sucks when that happens. Unfortunately, you really almost just have to get lucky to run into it again. There are a few things you can do:

1. look around the room and house at night when its dark with a flashlight. Eastern milks are nocturnal, so that will be your best shot. I have found 90% of my escapees at night when the snakes are on the move.

2. check under everything in the room where it escaped. Alot of times, they don't wander very far. I've found a few escapees under beds before. Someone recently posted a story about having two snakes escape and they were found months later in the same room the cages were in.

Try putting a mouse colony in the room. I have found lost snakes 100 feet away in the detached garage trying to get at the mice. I even found my buddys Mt King out there and he is across the street and two houses up the street.
Milk snakes stay down low in the room but corn snakes move up it seems. I found a lost milk snake 6 mths after it was gone in my snake room.
I found my corn snake in my sink drinking from the dripping faucet
