A 42" Ig was abandoned at the local animal shelter after passing through at least 4 owners since anybody knew what to do with a lizard. Since I own a petshop heavy into reptiles, have a soft heart and a soft head I take what they cannot keep. I do not usually sell Igs because few people can take care of them so I need some help. The next new owner is going to have to have adequate caging, lighting and heating before taking the animal home. The shelter and I are not charging much for the animal so the new owners should be able to afford what they need to do. Please give me some detailed caging suggestions and pictures. This is Indiana so outdoor, year round caging is out.
I posted this in the cage forum and did not get any answers. I hope you people can help me garantee a good home for this lizard.
