I'm not really sure what to think about how my snake is doing now. Tomorrow is his last appointment in his series of antibiotic injections, and the vet is also planning on tube feeding him again. He definitely seems to be doing better, but he's still not quite right. There still seems to be something going on that appears to be neurological (his head still tilts a bit as he moves, and he seems a little incoordinated in the front 1/4 of his body when trying to hold himself out in the air). I guess I don't really know much about that kind of stuff, but it seems to me it should be getting worse, not better if it is neurological, right? I also found a small bump along his backbone about 1/4 of the way down his body (about at the point where the incoordination starts) a few days ago (probably had been there all along, I just hadn't noticed it), but the vet didn't seem very concerned about it, which seemed odd to me, but he's the doctor. Sorry for the novel, I was just wondering what all your thoughts are on his progress. Thanks!
Heather
