Racks: Back heat, Belly heat?

HognoseVsPython Jul 27, 2006 11:07 PM

Does it matter?

What do you guys think works best for Bp's? Is there a big difference between the two?

Moving soon and need to get rid of glass tanks and switch to a rack system.

Thanks.

Back heat work best for lizards, snakes absorb heat through there belly scales more efficiently than any other part of there body .
ps. GOOD LUCK WITH ALL YOU DO!

Using belly heat along the back side would be most efficient. Belly heat allows more of the heat to go into the tub, rather than be lost before even getting into the tub. But putting it along the back still gives you a temperature gradient.
