skatecoupard Jul 28, 2006 08:56 AM

A few weeks ago i left for two days and when i came back i found eggs in the humid hide which was'nt humid any more and the eggs got dented. So i put alot of water on them and putt the in the incubater and three days later they puffed up to normal.and a few days letter i looked at them they had some mold on them so i wiped the of with a Q-tip and gave them new vermiculite but they still get mold and now every three days i have to wipe them off.How do i prevent mold?

1) If the egg is still alive/fertile, then you are keeping your eggs too moist.

2) The egg is infertile/dead.

When incubating always remember that keeping your eggs too moist/humid/wet is much, much worse than having them a little too dry.
