A quick heating question

HognoseVsPython Jul 28, 2006 10:02 AM

I usually keep my W. Hogs at a temp of 82-85 hot side and 75-80 cool side. I want to change my set up to a rack system and add them on the same HerpStat (thermostat/rhetrostat)as my ball python. The BP's temp must be 88-92 hot side and 80-82 cool side. Can hogs be kept at the same temp or is the 92 hot side too hot? I'd put the hogs on the bottom levels of the rack since heat rises and the bottom sections I heard are a few degrees cooler.

Thanks for the advice.

I keep a few young balls in my western hog rack. Temps from 78-79 cool side and 88-90 warm side, and everyone is doing great.
