I have one last egg out of my 7 egg clutch. The first hatched on the 23rd, 4 more on the 24th and 1 on the 25th. Is there anything I should do about my last egg? I think temperature for all eggs was very similar, I seperated them all and put them all half burried in the same smallish container of vermic.

I wait 48 hours after the others have begun to pip and then I make a small cut for the weaker hatchlings that can not slit the egg. Some people disagree with this and just let them die or hatch on their own. If you do decide to assist, make sure you do not cut the snake inside.

try candeling the egg and seeing if their are any veins still running in the egg. if their are then the snake is still using them. dont cut. if their are no veins then cut but be carefull. if most of the veins are gone and very few are left then cut in an area with no veins if you feel you must cut
