Food for corn snake

dracul Aug 03, 2003 10:04 AM

Hi, I am new to this hobby. Wonder if frogs (size about 2 inches from nostril to butt) can be the main diet for corn snakes? In my country, frogs are easily available. Thanks.

Probably not a good food source, although some young corns might eat them. If you can't buy mice, try getting a few dozen mouse traps and trapping and freezing mice that you catch in fields around your home (peanut butter makes great mouse bait for the traps). If you freeze the mice first, you should reduce to chances of parasite transfer.
