Can someone tell me what is the difference between the two? Is one better than the other?

It is really personal opinion. They are a little different, I personally like cinnamon pewters better, but the black pastel super is a much darker black. Cinnamons tend to exhibit more blushing than the blacks, but the blacks have sharper colors. You deffinately cant go wrong with either!!!

To elaborate a little further, they are both technically the same gentic trait. The gene they both have exhibits the same occurrences when they're bred. They just look different in their co-dom form, pretty much. In my opinion, black pastels are pretty ugly compared to cinnamons but blacks make way better looking combos and supers.

I think they're both kindda dull snakes (I have a cinny). They make wicked crosses with other morphs. I agree that the Blacks make better crosses. Good snakes to get for combos or you could buy one of each and breed them together and get a super (But then you wouldn't know if it was a Super Cinny or a Super Black)

Like the others have said.... they are both cool. I do like the deep orange that you see in the black pastel hatchlings! I also prefer the Black Pewter and Silver Streak, but that's just a personal preference.

Go with what you like best! I think the Super Cinny or Black Pastel Pieds will be hot! A snake in a cow's outfit!

I thought they were the same thing. I just thought that black was like a nickname for the cinny.
