This is helpful because I'm trying to figure out how to safely raise his basking spot. How did you make the platforms?

Here's how I made these, very simple. First cut a piece of 1/2" plywood to the size you want. Then laminate it with rolled cork. If you look close at this picture you could see an upsidedown ang bracket holding the perch in place. There are actually 3 of them underneath, mounted directly to the cage walls. But I do not screw them into the perch. That is why I have the upsidedown one on the top. that hold it securely in place, but a forcefull tug and it comes out so I can clean it and not to have to remove screws. This shelf was a little big, and the male dragon in this cage weighs over 600g so I made the sopport collumn in the front to prevent too much sagging. The simply put a branch propped up so dragons can get up there.

I really like this method because you can elevate the basking spot to get exactly the basking temp you want. I have alot of cages so I like using as low a wattage bulb as possible. This setup gives me 110 at the center of the basking spot with only a 30 watt bulb

Hope this helps, let me know if you need more info or pics of a certain aspect.

Shoot...this would have worked, but I don't have wood to screw it into. Could I do the same thing using four legs (like a table)? Or would that be too unstable? Is there something safe that I could use under his fake tree to raise it up closer to the light? Let me know what you think. Thanks
